Teams ready for Competition after General Team Meeting

The General Team Meeting (GTM) brought all participating teams together on Wednesday evening ahead of the start of the EUSA European Universities Rowing Championship 2026 at Jarun Lake.

The meeting opened with a short video introducing EUSA and the values behind university sport, setting the tone for the championship ahead. Teams were then guided through the key competition rules and procedures, making sure everyone had a clear understanding of what to expect on race days.

One of the main moments of the evening was the official draw. Crews found out their starting positions and race schedules, meaning everyone now knows when they will take to the water and who they will face in the first stages of the competition.

With the important information covered, the rules explained and the draw completed, the teams are now fully prepared for the action. Tomorrow, it is time to put all the preparation into practice and race at Jarun Lake.
