Accommodation
The European University Rowing Championship 2026 has carefully arranged accommodation to ensure comfort and convenience for all participants, including athletes, officials, referees, and VIP guests. Athletes and officials will stay in Zagreb’s well-equipped student dormitories, while referees and VIP guests will be accommodated in nearby high-quality hotels, all located close to the competition venues.

Student Dormitory Stjepan Radić
The main accommodation site for athletes and officials, the Student Dormitory Stjepan Radić is ideally located to facilitate easy access to competition and training venues.
Athletes – Rooms:

Housed in Buildings #3 and #4 of the dormitory complex, ensuring a dedicated space for rest and recovery.

Double rooms, renovated seven years ago; no air conditioning.

Electric outlets are available, but bringing a mobile air-conditioning unit is not recommended due to electrical limitations.

Bed linens are provided and changed once during the stay.

Bathrooms are shared, with one complete bathroom per floor including toilets and showers.
Team Officials – Rooms:

Housed in Buildings #1 and #2, allowing convenient access to both the athletes and competition venues.

Single rooms, no air conditioning.

Electric outlets are available, but using additional high-demand devices (like mobile AC units) is not recommended.

Bed linens are provided and changed once during the stay.

Hotels
Accommodations for referees, EUSA delegates, and VIP guests are arranged in nearby hotels to ensure comfort and privacy.

Three-Star Hotel: Referees are accommodated in a three-star hotel, providing a quiet and separate space that supports their role in maintaining fair play throughout the competition.

Four-Star Hotel: EUSA Technical Delegates (TD), Assistant Technical Delegates (ATD), and VIP guests will stay in a four-star hotel, offering high standards of comfort and services to ensure a pleasant and restful stay.
All accommodations are designed to promote rest, comfort, and a supportive environment for all participants, contributing to an optimal competition experience.
Catering
Proper nutrition is crucial to the performance and wellbeing of athletes and all participants involved in the championship. With this in mind, the catering arrangements have been designed to provide a balanced diet that supports the demanding physical requirements of futsal. Meals will be provided in convenient locations to ensure everyone is well-fueled for the competition.
Athletes and Officials
Meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) for athletes and officials will be served in the designated restaurant within the Student Dormitory Stjepan Radić. The catering team is committed to providing a nutritious variety of meals that meet the dietary needs of high-performance athletes, with a focus on balanced, fresh and energy-rich ingredients.
Referees, EUSA Technical Delegates (TD), Assistant Technical Delegates (ATD) and VIP Guests

Breakfast: Served at the hotel, allowing all officials and VIP guests to start their day comfortably.

Lunch and Dinner: Served in a designated dining area, offering a varied menu in a relaxed setting ideal for unwinding after the day’s events.
This arrangement provides a welcoming environment for referees and officials to recharge and relax after long days overseeing races.
Additional services within Athletes Village
Laundry service
Located on the ground floor of Pavilion 12. You can deliver clothes for washing from 14:00 – 22:00. The service will be charged (detergent and drying included).
Gym
The gym is located in Pavilion 11, on the north side of the building. The gym is free for use by all participants, both athletes and officials. Working hours: 08:00 – 20:00. To use a gym free of charge, you must bring your accreditation.
Medical room
The medical room will be operational all hours of the day (0-24), in case of emergency. Please note that you are responsible for insurance. All participant should have a valid European Health Insurance Card.

Grocery store and news-stand
These facilities are operated by the Students’ Centre and that means that all services provided by those facilities are charged accordingly.
The grocery store sells the usual assortment of goods. The store typically works from 07:00 – 21:00, from Monday to Saturday.
