General Information about the Event

Zagreb has a strong tradition in hosting rowing competitions and Lake Jarun is a renowned venue with a history of international regattas. The championship brings together elite university rowing teams from across Europe, balancing high-level sport with academic commitments, which makes university rowing uniquely competitive and exciting.

 

The 2026 edition will be held from August 25th to 30th, with athletes competing in men’s, women’s and mixed boat classes. The event will feature crews from multiple European universities, racing over the 2000m course at Lake Jarun, with the Opening Ceremony on August 26th.
