The visit was led by Lionel Gerard, EUSA Technical Delegate for Rowing, accompanied by Miha Zvan, EUSA Sports Manager, and Kinga Gaal, EUSA Sports Officer. Together with the Organising Committee team—Mate Vuksic, General Secretary, and Marko Lepoglavec, Sports Director of the Zagreb Academic Sports Federation—and representatives of the Zagreb Rowing Federation, they reviewed the current state of preparations and discussed improvements based on experience from the 2024 edition, also held in Zagreb.
The inspection included a visit to Lake Jarun, the traditional rowing venue of the Croatian capital, known for its excellent facilities and scenic surroundings. The delegation assessed the course layout, technical installations, boat storage areas, and supporting infrastructure to ensure full compliance with EUSA standards.
