Important information for participants before EUC Rowing 2026
The EUSA European University Rowing Championship 2026 is almost here! Zagreb is ready to welcome 500+ participants from 76 universities and 23 countries for four days of exciting university rowing on Lake Jarun.
As teams arrive in Zagreb, we have gathered the most important information you need for the championship.

Competition Venue
All races and training sessions will take place at Lake Jarun, Zagreb.

General Technical Meeting & Opening Ceremony
The General Technical Meeting (GTM) will take place on Wednesday, 26 August at 17:00 at the Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Zagreb.
The Opening Ceremony will follow at 19:00 at Lake Jarun, officially marking the beginning of the EUSA European University Rowing Championship 2026.
All participating teams are invited to attend both events and join us as we officially kick off the championship!
Training at Jarun
Teams can use the training area at Lake Jarun to prepare for the competition and get familiar with the course.
Practice times:
- Tuesday: until 18:00
- Wednesday: 08:00–17:00
- Thursday: 07:30–09:00
- Friday: 07:30–09:00 and 12:00–17:00
- Saturday: 07:30–09:00
The control weight for athletes and boat weighing will be available during the practice times.

Transportation
Transportation for accredited participants will be provided according to the official championship transportation schedule, including transfers between the Athlete’s Village, Lake Jarun and other official event locations.
Please check the transportation schedule and pick-up points in advance and allow enough time to reach the venue.

Catering
Meals for accredited participants will be served at the designated catering location in the Student Village / Student Dormitory Stjepan Radić.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided according to the official catering schedule. Please make sure to follow the announced meal times and bring your accreditation with you when required.
