EUC Rowing 2025 concludes, EUSA flag handed over to Zagreb

The European Universities Rowing Championship 2025 in Bydgoszcz concluded after several days of exciting competition, strong performances, and vibrant exchanges among student-athletes from across Europe. The event once again showcased the spirit of university sport, bringing together teams, volunteers, and officials in an atmosphere of camaraderie and sports excellence.

The Closing Ceremony marked an important symbolic moment for the rowing community. Following tradition, the EUSA flag was officially handed over to the next host city. Representing the University of Zagreb, Ms. Gabrijela Gaiser accepted the flag on behalf of the Organising Committee of the European Universities Rowing Championship 2026.

With the handover complete, preparations for Zagreb 2026 are now fully underway. The championship will take place on 26–29 August 2026, returning to the well-known rowing venue at Lake Jarun.
